- I grew up riding horses, and playing soccer and volleyball. As a teenager and young adult, I was involved in coaching and performing circus athletics, and I graduated from the École de Cirque de Québec when I was 19. The only skating I'd ever done before playing roller derby was doing figure skating classes as a child!
